My passion for science has followed me through my academic career and I have brought this with me into the work force as I pursue Environmental Science and Technology. I plan to use my technical skills and knowledge of databases for the benefit of the globe. I strive for integrity, professionalism, and creativity as I grow. As a customer service staff member; I provided premier customer service and answered customer inquiries with knowledgeable recommendations. In addition, I managed cash inventory for the appropriate till amounts.
My role included maintaining multiple client databases to export data and create custom reports. I also established an archive system of files containing historical and critical financial documents organized in a cloud-based platform.
Student Assistant | USF Botanical Gardens | Jan 2021 - May 2021
My time at the USF Botanical Gardens included educating and assisting garden visitors, leading sales, registering plants for festivals and events, interacting directly with visitors and providing training to new volunteers.
Green Team Associate | Suncoast Compost | June 2019 - March 2020
I worked independently at large food festivals across the Tampa Bay area. I properly sorted materials, educated guests on compostable items, and reduced waste by several tons to create a healthier community.
Laboratory Analyst | Advanced Environmental Laboratories | June 2022 - May 2023
My responsibilities as a laboratory analyst included the preparation and analysis of water and soil samples in accordance with EPA standards. I then created data reports for internal review. I analyzed and reviewed others' data for quality assurance that could be finalized and reported in Horizon LIMS laboratory management software. During preparation I performed routine and preventative maintenance on laboratory instrument hardware and troubleshooted as needed.
Junior Data Analyst | Alliance Drawback Services | May 2023 - Present
My unique position as a Junior Data Analyst consists of wide-scale data manipulation for a number of international clients. I spend time pulling, cleaning, and entering import and export data in preparation for further analysis, maximizing duty drawback refunds. I have become familiar with the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) database as well as US Customs regulations. This role has enhanced my Excel skills and refined my attention to detail.
